Throughout the Bible we are pointed to the importance of Prayer.Prayer is an integral part of the life of Bethel Church. With prayer meetings happening weekly. Prayer is our way of communicating to God. We bring the needs of others and our own personal needs to the Lord. This is something that we do daily, through our prayer chain. Prayer requests are sent to many prayer partners within our church through phone calls and e-mails.
But their comes a point when we have to get off of our knees and do something. There is the Prayer then there is the Care side of this ministry. This is the practical side of where people reach out and meet many need of people in our community.
This is Christianity in action. We show we are Christian by what we do.

James 2:14-18
What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.(NIV)
